Central Operations is the home of over 2,300 employees who handle Fifth Third Bank's back-office functions and Contact Center services for nearly six million customers. Our goal is to operate as an efficient, behind-the-scenes machine to allow Fifth Third Bank transactions to be seamlessly executed for our affiliates and customers.

GENERAL FUNCTION: This role is responsible for data mining and collection, and then interpreting data results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple analysis to the creation of high quality reports used for operational andexecutive-leveldecision making. The Business Data Reporting Analyst is responsible for gathering data from a variety of internal systems, turning the data into information and information into insight to assist in business decisions. The person in thisposition willinterface with a variety of constituents including the Executive Management, Senior Management, and professional staff.

Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensuresthatactions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

. Design and develop scorecards and dashboards using Microsoft Office, Tableau and other data visualization tools for various organizational metrics, KPIs, and KRIs.

. Create or modify reports and presentations using best practices.

. Develop manual/automated reporting programs using data from in-house systems.

. Perform ad-hoc data analysis and manual data refreshes.

. Develop graphs, charts, pivot tables and raw data tables on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.

. Gather and analyze organizational data to identify trends for effective planning and decision making.

. Interpret data and trends to support recommendations for short and long-term operational planning.

. Monitor data quality, identify inconsistencies, and provide recommendations to optimize business data processes.

. Establish and monitor appropriate performance measures to ensure successful execution of the Information Security vision.

. Work closely with leadership to prioritize data and information needs.

. Develop executive-level reporting and presentations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

. Bachelor's degree in related field required with 5 years' experience in related business analyst or data/reporting analyst roles.

. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization

. A proven team player with the ability to partner, maintain and develop relationships.

. Critical thinker with excellent judgment and strong initiative

. Excellent written, verbal communication skills and presentation skills; very strong in one-on-one communications, as well as small and large groups. Able to facilitate meetings.

. Attention to detail and accuracy. Superior documentation and organizational skills.

. Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and other data visualization and reporting tools

. Must be adaptable self-starter and work with minimal supervision. Must be able to juggle multiple projects and organize time effectively.

. Ability to develop with Visual Basic coding and Excel macros

. Familiarity with the Financial Services industry and regulatory governing bodies a plus.
