The Digital Identity Director is responsible for the design and execution of a holistic enterprise-wide strategy across digital authentication, digital identity, customer protection and digital fraud prevention. This is likely to involve integrationandexecution of new processes, systems and experiences. The Director discovers, develops and evaluates ideas or product extensions for digital identity, authentication, customer protection and fraud. This individual will work to close existinggaps,establish improved proactive protocols; and, develop a full product approach for digital identity. This individual must partner with the Risk Management, InfoSec, IT, Operations, Digital (Commercial and Consumer); and, many other One Bank partnerstobring better and more integrated digital identity and protection solutions and processes to market that will better protect our clients while supporting easy and seamless experiences across all channels and teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Lead and define the digital identity and authentication strategy and product experience and roadmap for the Fifth Third enterprise using expertise in risk, identity management, mobile user experience, client experience, product development,anddesign.
. Direct the vision for the next generation of digital risk strategy and infrastructure for managing risk associated with our products, services, distribution channels, and technology platforms. Develop a roadmap for building a world-classdigitalidentity, authentication, fraud and protection strategies; and execute against key initiatives.
. Engage closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define a roadmap for digital authentication, digital identity, customer protection, and digital fraud to better protect the enterprise and deliver engaging client experiences.
. Understand the current business challenges and emerging digital identity and digital fraud trends and partner with key functions and the lines of business to identify critical process changes and technology enhancements with a focus on quickwinsbalanced with longer-term transformation.
. Integrate data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, competitive and market analysis, and company goals to drive prioritization of identity and protection initiatives.
. Partner with Business and Product owners across the enterprise to assess new products, services, and technology platforms to ensure they align with established digital risk appetite.
. Lead analysis of current and future markets, technology and industry trends in fraud and ID to support strategy and product development
. Provide input and direction in the development of market positioning for authentication, fraud and identity products and services
. Primary contributor for an enterprise Omnichannel authentication strategy; establish a roadmap for enabling common capabilities across the digital, phone, branch and ATM channels.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential and providing challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growthwhilerecognizing and rewarding employees' accomplishments. Assist in the development of appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
. Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology or other related discipline. M.B.A. or equivalent advanced degrees preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
. 10+ years of relevant work experience, including managerial experience, in an authentication, digital identity, fraud, compliance or channel management risk-related field.
. Experience in product development, business analysis, or consulting with an understanding of and related experience in Digital Channel Management, Product Management or Technical Application Management
. Proven Digital Channel Leader with a unique blend of product management and technology experience; experience with agile product development and software-as-a-service preferred.
. Data management and analytics experience a plus.
. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully engage and influence.
. Expertise in defining and building out product roadmap and business models.
. Outstanding ability to lead, influence, and build consensus across different groups. Ability to communicate very well in writing and in person.
. Experience with bringing together cross functional teams and leading execution in an agile delivery model.

. Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills.
. Proven track record of delivery and new product feature creation.

. Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like.

. Travel approximately 25% (domestic).
