GENERAL FUNCTION:

Lead the Credit Card Customer Management analytics team that enables effective customer management and engagement through various analytically driven strategies, tactics and treatments in various channels. Develop, execute and analyze data-based strategies to manage and grow card customers profitably by optimizing marketed population, product terms, channels and promotional offers. Actively use analytical methods, testing and other objective and hypothesis based approach in the Learning Agenda to make optimal Customer Management decisions and strategies.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

# Develop roll-out and continually optimize winning credit card Customer Management strategies

# Recommend optimal Customer Management decisions (including Balance Transfers, Spend promotions, card migrations, graduations and various customer treatments) in digital, mail, branch and other channels and monitor performance against expectations

# Effectively lead the team of analysts and mentor their development

# Develop Card Services analytical team's acumen through data driven decision-making

# Perform ad hoc and testing analyses in a fast paced and dynamic business environment

# Move quickly to identify, understand, and deliver solutions to address internal or external findings

# Develop ongoing Learning Agenda for the Customer Management team

# Lead analytics team production to drive high quality while efficiently managing a pipeline of analyses

# Work across functional groups to drive results and deliver on goals

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Basic Qualifications

# Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline (e.g. science, technology, engineering, math, or economics)

# 5+ years of experience in credit card industry leading analytical teams

# 5-10 years of demonstrated analytical experience

# Experience in data mining and analytics using SAS, SQL, Python, excel

# Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

# Ability to collaborate with, present to, and persuade Executive (including C-level) Management and across functions

Preferred Skills/Experience

# Advanced degree in quantitative discipline (e.g. science, technology, engineering, math, or economics)

# Experience with quantitative marketing and market research techniques

# Comfort ensuring test designs are statistically grounded
