The Bankcard Line of Business Director, Small Business Credit Card is a leadership position responsible for the strategy, design, launch and on-going management of Fifth Third's product value proposition and customer experience for small businesses. Small business is an important growth segment for the bank, and this individual will lead our efforts to create a more insight driven approach to value proposition, capabilities and services that leverage the bank's relationship assets to effectively compete in the marketplace. Specifically this leader will partner with IT, Finance, Analytics, Retail, Marketing, and DSG to develop and execute our plan by:

# Understanding and articulating the card opportunity in small business for 5/3

# Ensuring strategy is aligned with the bank's overall strategy for the small business segment

# Developing a plan to gain deep insights from existing small business customers at the bank

# Outlining the current gaps in our product offerings and capabilities

# Testing a prioritized set of value propositions and services with bank customers

# Finalizing the product positioning, branding, offering and marketing

# Developing the business case and financial model

# Leading the technical development and launch of the product

# Create the go-to-market launch plan#marketing, acquisition, PR, activation, etc.

# Bring the small business customer to life for the entire organization

# Mange the performance of the new and existing products on an on-going basis

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.


# Bachelor's degree. MBA or other Advanced degree is preferred

# 10+ years of product design & management, customer research and marketing experience

# Deep understanding of the small business segment and/or small business credit cards

# Understanding of Credit Card and emerging payment product and service capabilities

# Strong strategic and analytical ability with effective communication skills

# Demonstrated success launching successful products based on customer insights

# Demonstrated ability to thrive in a highly-matrixed and relationship-driven organization

# Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

# Strong general manager who demonstrates broad business and financial acumen

# Proven ability to use data analytics, research and testing to drive business decisions
