The Consumer Bank works together as one unit to coordinate the delivery of deposit products, mortgages, auto loans, home equity loans, credit cards, and other consumer products. Whether in need of a mortgage or a new car, our customers know we offer a sol ution to help them achieve their goals.

GENERAL FUNCTION:

As first line of defense, this function provides holistic strategy for outsourcing activities and manages assigned vendor relationships for third party services that are utilized within a particular line of business or division. Therolesupportstheachievement of Fifth Third Bank's objectives by addressing the full life-cycle of a vendor relationship.

Responsible for managing vendor on-boarding, measurement, and recertification. Develops and maintains reporting that validates vendor performance alignment with the stated guidelines and controls as outlined in contractual terms. Worksinconjunctionwithimpacted parties to resolve project or performance issues and ensures solution requirements are met. Responsible for vendor scorecard and overall performance management. Champions new initiatives and removes barriers and acts asacatalyst forchange.The primary goal of this role is to adhere to and to ensure vendor governance so that Fifth Third Bank receives the expected value from the vendor engagement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan:

.Sets appropriate goals for personal and team accomplishment in alignment with the bank's strategic objectives and objectively monitors progress toward goals.

.In conjunction with the LOB relationship owner, provide overall oversight regarding outsourcing including developing an appropriate and accurate business case.

.Partner with impacted parties to ensure adherence to all elements of the outsourcing process.

.In partnership with Vendor Risk Management (VRM), Sourcing, and other Risk disciplines, develops and maintains LOB or division-specific vendor policies.

Source:

.Partner with LOB vendor relationship owner and Sourcing in supplier selection and category strategy development.

.Develop monitoring plans for critical vendors, and review monitoring plans for all other vendors.

Manage:

.Generate and encourage innovative solutions to create opportunities and address problems; challenge conventional thinking to find better ways to achieve results.

.Drive strategic change to achieve vendor outsourcing management with attention to creating operational efficiency.

.Maintain the end-to-end process and support systems (design, build and maintenance) to ensure an optimal vendor management approach is in place.

.Develop and facilitate Internal Working Groups for critical vendors, periodic business reviews, quarterly business reviews, and monthly performance meetings for all other applicable vendors.

.Review supplier SLA scorecard and VRM quality performance assessments for all vendors to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are in alignment with vendor contracts and LOB requirements. Follow-up on scorecards where issues areidentifiedtodiscussaction.

.Monitor action plans for identified issues to ensure timeliness of resolution.

.Ongoing management of plan monitoring as environment, performance of vendor, or governance changes.

.Monitor and assist with execution of exit strategy and contingency plans for all vendors.

.Engage in ongoing operational issues

.Partner with VRM to provide overall health score for vendor.

.Facilitate contract renewals in partnership with Sourcing and LOB to ensure that contractual SLAs are in alignment with the needs of the business.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

.Bachelor's Degree in management, economics, related field or equivalent experience; Masters Degree preferred.

.7-10 years of related business experience required. Expertise in Sourcing/Supplier leadership and program management preferred.
