Commercial IT, Consumer IT, Payments IT, Infrastructure IT, Enterprise and Corporate Applications as well as IT Security and Risk.
Builds and executes a roadmap for the User Experience function that includes, but is not limited to, research, conceptual design, prototyping and testing of user interfaces and functionality through improvements in people, process and technology.Leads,influences and collaborates with senior leadership, product management, application development, enterprise architecture, marketing, and other key teams. Consults with internal stakeholders to understand business goals to inform and execute astrategyto meet and exceed user needs and deliver value to the bank. Owns the solving of complex problems while mentoring and growing a team of user interface designers and developers. Partners with external vendors to deliver the project portfolio.Providesindustry-level leadership which results in elevated credibility both internally and outside the bank.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Develop and maintain relationships with leaders across both IT and lines of business in order to build strong awareness of the organization and its abilities
. Establish a strong, proactive partnership with respective product and technology teams to understand and collaborate on driving roadmaps and product/design strategy to improve the overall end user experience
. Foster an innovative design culture and drives thought leadership, both locally within the team and throughout the company
. Develop and implement user experience organizational operating model
. Adhere to processes and standards, while also leading process improvement efforts; building new capabilities as needed based on portfolio demand or strategic direction
. Facilitate collaboration across strategic solution partners to gather, prioritize and analyze project or program levels of effort estimates
. Influence and energize others toward the common vision and goal
. Manage resources to support both Agile and Waterfall lifecycles
. Manage operational procedures and methods and recommends changes for improvement with an emphasis on automation and efficiency.
. Facilitate consulting Statement of Work process for team and ensure documents adhere to corporate standards.
. Other duties as required
. Supervision of organization of 10-20 resources, including manager, full-time employees, consultants, interns and co-ops.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
. Must be able to communicate professionally with senior leaders and lead meetings with executive presence.
. Expert in user-centered design process and user research techniques.
. Expert skills in conceptual modeling, UI design principles, User Centered Design, human factors, interaction design, usability methodologies, industry standards and trends, platform standards, and software development life cycle (SDLC)process,demonstrated through portfolio of previous work.
. Demonstrated organizational and project management skills, with ability to prioritize and multi-task successfully in a deadline-intensive environment.
. Knowledge and proficiency in the use of Adobe Creative Suite; experienced creating wireframes and prototypes with tools such as Invision, Sketch and Axure.
. Undergraduate degree in Communications Design, Interaction Design, Digital Design, Graphic
Design, Human Factors, or equivalent, with 10 years or more of experience.
. Previous consulting or agency experience is preferred, but not required.
