GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Director, Private Bank Sales II provides direction and strategy for the Private Bank sales activities. Responsible for a market with new Private Bank sales greater than two million. Directs the activities of the PrivateBankICandRM staff.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensuresthatactions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and implements the Private Bank sales strategy including client experience goals..

  • Manages the IC and RM staff, assigns sales territories, and monitors sales expenses.

  • Involved in negotiating and closing sales with the largest and/or most valued high net worth personal clients.

  • Responsible for management sales reporting.

  • Maintains a high level of knowledge about investments and other trust products.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential by providing challenging opportunities; developing the appropriate talent pool toensureadequatebenchstrength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor#s degree.

  • Advanced degree desirable.

  • Minimum 8 -10 years experience in the financial services industry. Proven sales experience. Series 6 required. Series 7, 66 desirable. Prior management experience desirable.

  • Possesses strong communication skills and has a good working knowledge of the Company#s products and services.

  • Has a high level of knowledge concerning investments and financial markets.
