GENERAL FUNCTION:

Responsible for helping to define and executing on the master data management (MDM) vision for the enterprise within the Chief Data Office (CDO), ensuring direct alignment to the bank's overall vision and strategy. Identify key masterdata domains and their use cases, and deliver on the strategy and roadmap to achieve the vision.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank#s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

. Manage MDM Strategy for focus domains, aligning to key strategic initiatives.

. Champion MDM initiatives for key domains with responsibility of delivering "wing to wing" solution to centralize the creation, governance and distribution of master data.

. Communicate and influence key stakeholders including senior leadership to ensure buy-in for the MDM vision and strategy.

. Identify existing processes for creating, maintaining and reporting master data and its impact to strategic imperatives.

. Identify reference data domains, its usage and impact to key processes; and establish a plan to govern reference data for improved quality and harmony across multiple systems and processes.

. Deliver business requirements for identified focus domains, partnering with cross functional and/or strategic initiatives leaders.

. Partner with IT to develop MDM plan, tool selection and implementation.

. Identify and leverage opportunities to continually improve the data quality, processes and standards for master data domains.

. Collaborate with CDO office verticals such as Data Quality and Foundational elements to leverage processes and toolset for data quality validation, data dictionary/metadata management and lineage documentation.

. Ensure adherence to the data governance policy for the assigned master data domains.

. Lead a MDM/data standards forum with cross functional participation to continually monitor, resolve and improve data quality for master data domains.

. Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

. Minimum 5 years financial services industry experience, including data management; deep understanding of data modeling and master data management in a key domaiManagen (customer, product etc)

. Minimum 3 years of leadership experience within data management field

. Prior financial services industry experience preferred

. Solid communication and writing skills with the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization

. Inclusive leadership skills with ability to promote a work environment that fosters creative thinking and innovation

. A self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

. Program and project management experience

. Business acumen and understanding of business processes related to creation and distribution of master and reference data

. Strong ability to organize, manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet specified deadlines

. Exposure to MDM and/or data quality tools (informatica, IBM etc)

. Excellent PC skills including experience with Microsoft Office products

. Possess excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and analytical skills

. Ability to collaborate with diverse group of cross functional teams leads and staff, apply experience and knowledge to provide creative solutions to problems
